First up was birthday presents! We got Jack a huge Jelly Cat monkey like Champs' gorilla, Sammy. He LOVES Champs' gorilla so we decided he needed his own.
After presents, we started the day with a yummy breakfast at Eggs Up Grille. Jack was wearing a birthday hat, so the waitress brought him a blueberry muffin with a candle so we got to sing to him right away! Then we got him a big breakfast and as I've mentioned food is Jack's happy place, so he was in heaven!!!
After a little playtime, great naps for both boys and showers for Mama and Daddy, it was time to party. Jack actually woke up first so we got him all dressed and ready for the party! I had gotten all the balloons for the party while he was asleep so he was completely mesmerized and obsessed with them ALL DAY! He pointed and said "ba" for balloons for days. It was fitting as his invitation has a big balloon on it. Little did I know how much he would love his "theme."
