Visit from baby Harrison!

We had the treat last week of my cousin Catherine and her baby, Harrison, come and stay with us for a couple of nights.  She and I were hosts of a baby shower on Saturday morning, so we decided she should come in town that Friday and spend the night.  Long story short, her dad was actually here in Columbia having some tests done at Providence last week, so she ended up coming on Thursday!  It was great b/c Clemson played Thurs night so the two of us and our friend Kelly got to watch the game together.  Barrett was actually at the game in Louisville!

It was so great to get in some snuggles with her sweet, precious, chunky-monkey baby!  He is about 3 1/2 months old, so still totally cuddly!!  I got some practice time in with having 2 while Cat went and visited with her dad on Thursday.  Let's just say, it's BUSY!! :)

Here's my selfie shot with Harrison.  Isn't he precious!?!  I love this face he makes.

On Friday afternoon, we had some more friends/cousins come over to play.  Here are pics of the cousins - Bollin (3), Julia (2), Champs (2) and Harrison (3 months)!  Love them so!

Come back to see us in Columbia again soon, Harrison!

Clemson/App State game!

We took Champs to the App State game Sept 13 weekend!  We went straight into Clemson when we got there that late afternoon and walked around downtown, showed him the stadium and had dinner at Tiger Town Tavern.  Funny story, we almost got arrested for trespassing at the stadium - now that would have been a story to tell huh!?!

Drinking their favorite drinks, respectively!

GAMEDAY!  We tailgated with Barrett's family this game!  His parents, aunts, uncle and cousins were all there.  His cousin Mac had a college tour of Clemson on Friday and will be applying to Clemson this fall!!  It was a fun day with family!

Love this little Tiger!!

Football season READY!

Since we didn't go to Clemson for the first game, we planned to take Champs to the second game of the season vs. App State.  Barrett was very excited to take him so that week they were buying footballs and practicing cheers!

Labor Day in Pawleys

We had a great long weekend in Pawleys for Labor Day.  It was just our little family of 3 and was nice to be together with no schedules or commitments - other than the family photo shoot I had scheduled for Friday night! :)  We got some great beach time in, took some nice walks, watched a lot of football and just chilled out.  Champs really loved the ocean this time - I'm sure that will be the case all next summer - get ready for that Daddy b/c Mama has gotten pretty afraid of the ocean (sharks!)!

Getting lunch and ice cream at Chickfila on the way out of town!

We hit the beach late that afternoon as soon as we got there!

Watching football and eating supper downstairs at the beach house!

 Another beach day!

Getting ready for the Clemson season opener against Wofford!

A little more beach after the game!

Sunday we wanted to get out the house for a bit so we went to Bisquit for supper at the Hammock Shops and to Sweet Cups for ice cream.  Champs enjoyed the playground at the Hammock Shops too.

Does he make an ice cream cone look good or what?!?

Sunday night was such a beautiful night we didn't want it to end so we walked around the island for a while!

Thank you to Che and Poppy for letting us have the beach house for Labor Day weekend - it was the best time!!  Looking forward to getting pics back from the photographer that took pics of our family on Friday night too!

Oh and one funny story of the weekend (if you follow me on insta you have seen this).  Champs started singing the B-I-B-L-E song (that you probably all remember from Bible School growing up) on the way down to the beach.  Well on Friday night - just before the photographer got there - he grabbed this random book from a shelf at the house and started calling it his Bible.  It just happened to be one of the books from the Shopaholic series.  Well for the rest of the weekned he was OBSESSED (in typical Champs fashion) with this book being his Bible and singing the song with it.  The book napped with him, went on the beach with him, etc etc.  Here he is singing with it!
