Easter Sunday!

We had such a great Easter this year.  We hosted our families here in Columbia at our church and then to our house for lunch.  The weather certainly could have been better, as it was cloudy and overcast all day, but at least the rain held off until later in the afternoon!

We had my parents, Barrett's parents, my grandparents, Will & Ashley here with us.  Champs loved having all his family here!

I hated we never got a picture of the 4 of us, but Barrett and I did at least take some other each other with the boys before church.

Our church service was great.  I always love the service at Easter - so uplifting.  Jack sat in his car seat the whole time and didn't make a peep.  He wasn't even asleep most of the time, but was just looking and smiling at me.  He's the sweetest baby!!

Easter morning!

Easter basket time!

Easter Eggs

Champs got to dye Easter Eggs for the first time last week and loved it!  He liked dropping the eggs from one color to the next to another!  So we had some interesting looking eggs, but they were still actually pretty.  I have always loved dying eggs.  I even did another carton on my own the next day to use for decorating for Easter, but don't tell Champs!

Tulips!

It's not springtime in Columbia unless you've stopped for pictures with the gorgeous tulips at Trenholm Road Methodist!  I attempted to get a few with both boys, but was too scared to let Champs hold him there, so went more with the carseat method, besides one brave shot!

We pass this church (and our own) at least twice daily as we travel down Trenholm Rd constantly.  So now Champs says every time as we pass, "Mommy there are those pretty tulips!"
