Sweet Jack - one month old

Oh sweet baby Jack, you are such an angel baby!!  Jack continues to show us he is easy-going and easy to please.  He loves to be held, especially by Mommy, and really does go with the flow.  He doesn't seem to mind the very loud and fast-paced life he has led this first month, being on the go with me and with Champs always playing/singing/jumping right around him!  He adjusted to getting on an eating schedule really nicely - easily moving to eating every 3 hours during the day.  We are working on the during the night feedings still, but he did move from 2 to 1 DURING the night feeds.  So his days are currently looking about like this:

6/7am - Feed (Depending on when he wakes up)
9/9:30am- Feed (Again, depending on when he woke up and was first fed.)
12pm - Feed
3pm - Feed
6pm - Feed
9pm - Feed
Somewhere between 1:00am-2:30am - Feed

Jack is starting to really fill out, feeling more like a cute, squishy baby than a floppy newborn! :)  He does love to be swaddled at night to sleep.  I started him napping in his crib today, so swaddled him for that as well.  He is generally not fussy except maybe a little during the 6-8pm time at night.  If I could hold him the whole time he'd be fine, but I'm usually trying to put him down for dinner/bath for Champs and dinner for Barrett and me!

He is so much more alert now when he's awake, loves looking at his mobiles and at all of us.  He even seems to enjoy watching Mickey with Champs ;)  I am trying to enjoy every day of this sweet, sweet stage of a gentle, sleepy new baby - I know how fast this stage is!  Loving the closed of fists, the faces he makes when he's waking up and stretching, the funny look he has on his face during baths, the sweet newborn smell and even his little head that has become quite bald on top during the last week or so.

I am still not sure who I think he looks like.  Sometimes I think he looks just how Champs did as a baby, therefore meaning he'll look like Barrett - but then sometimes I feel like he looks so different than Champs did.  Guess we'll have a better idea in the months to come!  Oh and did I mention that his hair does look red, especially in certain light and even more so in pictures!  In person I feel like it sometimes looks red and sometimes looks brown.  I am pretty certain when it comes back in it won't be red, but who knows!

Here's our sweet Jack on the day he turned 1 month!

And a few from the phone from lately.....
