Life is good!

We are getting into a rhythm around here and life is good!  Busy, a little crazy and certainly some trying moments, but good!

Champs went to Bishopville with my parents a couple of weekends ago and had the best time!  It gave Barrett and me a chance to have some good time with just Jack, and Champs was totally entertained and spoiled all weekend by Poppy and Che - a win/win for all!

My brother came to stay with us the next weekend for a night and went to the Zoo with us on Saturday morning.  That was fun and we always love when Uncle Will comes to town!  The 4 of us made it to church that Sunday for the first time so that was a big accomplishment.  Jack sat in the back with me and Barrett had to keep the nursery for Champs' class.

I took both to the park last week and it went well, since Jack just slept.  I did get him out for a bit because I was scared he was too hot!  He's wearing his little outfit here my parents brought him back from Paris.  They got it in September when he was just a little peanut in my belly.

Jack had his first visit to Bishopville.  I got my hair cut last Tues a.m. (still go to Crystal in Hartsville) so Jack and I went on Monday night and Mama kept Jack while I was getting hair done on Tues.

This past week and weekend we have been enjoying all this beautiful Spring weather!  (Really more like summer weather - in the 80's!)  We had the first egg hunt of the year on Saturday morning - it was a cute birthday party.  Champs is loving playing outside and of course riding his gator truck.

Champs wearing his EDS shirt for Spirit Day!

Charlie brought Margaret over Friday afternoon for dinner while Mel was out of town with her friends.  These two were cute on the playmat together kicking!

Jack has gotten really into this thing - loves kicking and hitting it!!

Sleepy boy ready to head to egg hunt this weekend.

Champs had so much fun at the party and hunting eggs.  He's been super into egg hunting since.  We have hidden eggs for him in the house and he likes to hide them for us to hunt too!

Playing a little golf in the yard before Daddy left to play for real!

Big thanks to Sandra & Ronnie who came over yesterday and stayed with the boys while Barrett played golf and I ran some errands!  I spent over an hour browsing around Target and kept fearfully thinking I had surely left a child in the car!  I've gotten so used to Jack always being with me it feels funny when he's not!

Sunday Barrett and Champs headed to church, but Jack and I took it easy at home.

I took Champs to Firehouse for supper last night for the first time. He loved all the firetruck stuff on the walls and getting to try on the real fireman suit!  He wasn't a fan of their grilled cheese though, so he ate a whole bag of Cheetos for supper.  One day, he will gobble of food my mom swears to me.  I so look forward to this day!

This little ducky and I have been busy today cleaning, grocery shopping and working.  I do like my office setup here though!  This pic makes it look a lot easier than it is though! :)  This only lasted about 45 min!

Have a great week, everyone!
