Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year!  Champs was semi-excited during the first part of the day.  We had more of the yummy Trader Joe's pumpkin bread we've been loving this fall for breakfast and then he and Barrett carved a pumpkin.  It was his first experience with that.  I don't think he knew what to think!

After he woke up from his nap he was giddy with Halloween excitement.  I went in when he started calling me and he had the biggest grin on his face.  He kept saying "It's Halloween Day, Mommy!!"  He was so ready to put on his Fireman outfit and go Trick-or-Treating and on the hayride.  It was just funny b/c he didn't mention that much about those things before he went down for his nap but when he woke up he was READY!!

We had plans to go to our friends, the Prevosts, house for Halloween this year.  It was perfect size - about 5 families with kids and then a couple without kids.  Champs loves going to Townsend's house anyway, so he was pumped!!

We did a hayride that afternoon first and they all loved riding around the neighborhood!

More fun in the backyard!

These 3 cuties loved going "up and down the hill" over and over!

Time to go trick-or-treating!  Champs was very into it.  He ran up to each house so excited and said "Trick-or-Treat!!"  It was cute!

After trick-or-treating we went back to Ann Mac's for chili and cornbread.  It was such a fun night!  Now, onto Thanksgiving!!

I almost forgot to mention, Barrett and I went to a Halloween party on Friday night in costume. Barrett dressed as Gus Malzahn (Auburn head coach) and I was a (Pregnant) hippie.  I will say, Barrett was SPOT ON in his costume.  He looked just like him!
