We finished out Barrett's Birthday celebrations with his parents on Friday night. We all went to dinner at Tazza Kitchen, where Champs downed his usual entire order of guacamole himself!
The only thing he might like more than guacamole, is a cupcake, so was delighted when I pulled out the stash I had been hiding under the table from him.
Saturday we had a great morning at Melrose Park - the little park near our house. Champs and I discovered a house that has chickens on our way, so we now have to stop daily to see if the chickens are out. Champs likes to say when he sees them...."cock-doodle-doooo" with this funny little expression on his face.
I just had to take this picture of Champs during his nap on Saturday. Why is it that on the days we have to be somewhere at 3:00, he is sleeping like it's the best sleep of his life!
Saturday afternoon we had Mac's 1st Birthday party. Sweet Mac had been to the weekend clinic that morning and diagnosed with a double ear infection. What a bummer on the day of your 1st Bday Party! He still seemed to have a great time, until Alexis tried to put his bday hat on to sing to him. His cry face is so darn cute though! :)

On Sunday, we had James' 2nd birthday party. It's just so hard to believe James and Champs are turning 2 this year. I feel like it was just a flash ago Champs was sitting on the sofa in the boppy with James nestled beside him with Nanny Pat.
