Christmas Part 2

After a yummy lunch of my mom's corn chowder and ham & cheese paninis with Uncle Bill, we headed to Barrett's parents on Christmas Eve afternoon.  Champs was excited to see KK, Boo, Chase, EE, Kenney and GiGi (Barrett's grandmother) that night!  We had fun visiting and had a good dinner that night!  Sandra decided to give Champs his big gifts from them that night so he wouldn't get overwhelmed the next morning so that was fun.  This is a cute chair they gave him that plays songs and he really likes it!

Champs and GiGi

Before Champs went to sleep we read A Christmas Story.  As you can see he was getting pretty sleepy, but we got through it!

After he went to sleep we had to finish some Santa toys!  Chase and Barrett worked hard on the car track.

Santa came to see Champs!

As Champs went to bed we told him Santa was coming to the house that night!!  I don't think he really understood that night but the next morning when he woke up and I told him Santa had come to see him he started really wanting to go to the den to see what I was talking about.  His face when he first walked out was so priceless.  And he stood like this for prob 2 or 3 whole minutes.

So this Santa guy really brought me all this?!
Kinda scared - ran to Boo after minutes of looking from afar!

After some breakfast and showers, we got ready for more family to arrive! I did a bad job of getting pictures with everyone, but we loved getting to see Nickie, Mac and Livie as well as all who were with us Christmas Eve too!  Champs really enjoyed playing with everyone so much and is loving all his new toys from everyone!  Family is so special and I'm thankful for each and every one of you!
