One last beach hoorah

We went back to the beach for what I'm pretty sure will be the last hoorah of summer this past weekend.  We invited our friends, the Lindsay's, who have a 4 1/2 month old baby boy, Mac.  It was a great weekend, despite a minor hiccup - Champs had a 12 hour stomach bug that hit him on Friday night when we got to the beach.  Poor baby - it was the first time he's ever thrown up and I just felt so sorry and sad for him.  Luckily he woke up Sat a.m. bright and early and ready to go!  We thought the rest of us had escaped it, but turned out by Sunday night, both Pickens and Barrett had it! It's funny before having a baby, we NEVER got sick besides the minor cold once/year.  Since having one, we are battling stomach bugs, fever viruses and more.  YUCK and enough about that.  Onto these two precious boys who had a blast at the beach this weekend!  Beach weekends are sure different than they used to be, but I love them just as much!
