Growing up, I was always extremely close to my cousins. There are 7 of us and I always say them in the order we were born: John, Drane, Joan, Julia, Catherine, Will & Cally! The Bell and DesChamps children grew up in Bishopville together, so we obviously spent a lot more time together, but cherished the weekends, summer beach trips, shopping trips and summer camp time with the Oliphant cousins. And then when it was time for college, Joan and I decided to be roommates. And what do you know - we ended up living together for 3 of our 4 years at Clemson, a couple years after Clemson in Columbia and just across town from each other now. Point is.....cousins are special and I look forward to Champs being close to my cousins children - and of course his future first cousins as well. (Hurry up Will & Chase!)
Last Sunday, we attended Joan's daughter Bollin's 2nd birthday. She is seriously the most adorable, best personality, hilarious little 2 year old I've ever met! I adore her.
It was Champs' first birthday party to attend. SO MUCH FUN!
