Happy Easter!

Hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!  I am so excited to read Champs the Easter story in his Bible this weekend, show him Jesus' blood on the dogwood tree flower and also for the Easter Bunny to come to our house for the first time.

We are having both of our families come to our house this Easter, so we're really looking forward to that!  We'll be going to church Sunday morning, having a little Egg Hunt at our house afterward and then eating a yummy Easter lunch.

Pics here are from Champs' first Easter Egg Hunt.  We had the neighborhood hunt last Sunday.  It was a beautiful day and Champs was very proud of his EGG!

Happy Birthday Grandmama Bell!

On Saturday, we celebrated my Grandmama Bell's 87th birthday with a birthday picnic at Mama's house.  It was such a beautiful day for a picnic - the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and no surprise to anyone, Mama had the PERFECT scene for a spring picnic in the backyard with a delicious picnic spread of yummy food!

Though all the grandchildren couldn't make it, all 5 of her great-grands were there and together for the first time.  It was a really special day.  We are so lucky to have them in our lives and as you can see they are doing great - playing with all the babies and even getting down on the quilt on the ground.

April weekend in PI!

We had such a great weekend at Champs' 2nd time going to Pawleys.  He seems to love it at our house, Blue Moon!  Both times we've gone down he just looks and looks - taking in his home for the weekend!  He even felt the ocean this time, but didn't like it just yet.  My feet got soaked (in running shoes) trying to let him feel it and I realized why he hated it...it was freezing!

Weather was nice - we had several good walks on the beach, lots of stroller rides, sat on the dock and watched the basketball games downstairs on Sat.
