Clemson Homecoming!

We had the best day at Clemson Homecoming this year!  Barrett and I took Champs and baby Jack stayed home with a sitter.  It was some much needed time with just our big boy.  He was SO excited! Uncle Will went with us too, which made it extra fun for him!  We left bright and early Saturday morning and didn't get back until about 8:30pm that night.

We tailgated for a while and then when it was time to go into the game I could tell Champs was getting pretty sleepy. He did okay for a little of the first quarter, but then he was ready to leave.  Luckily it was Homecoming so we strolled over to Bowman and checked out all the floats.  After that he wanted to go get Sammy (gorilla).  I thought he wanted to take a nap with Sammy - but no - he wanted Sammy to go back in the game with him.  So Sammy, Champs and I went back for the very exciting 4th quarter! Needless to say, the Sammy obsession is at a height, but he makes him happy so whatever! :)  It was a great finish with a Tiger win and we had lots of fun tailgating more after the game!

Jack didn't get to go with us this time, but he enjoyed the balloon we brought back!

 And then the sun was shining bright the next day after the storm passed so off to church we went!

Calm before the storm.

Or maybe it was storm before the storm.  :-)  School was closed for a couple days in anticipation of Hurricane Matthew's arrival so we had a fun morning at the zoo with friends.  It was a super fun time, but Champs did about give me a heart attack on this day as he ran off from the group and quickly got onto the carousel about 50 yards away.  Holy moly!!

Could there be anything more delicious than your first bite of a HOT & READY Krispy Kreme donut?  I think not! :)
